The Order Value (OV) provided is VesselsValue’s opinion, in US Dollars (USD), of the price that the aircraft’s manufacturer would agree, as at the Order Value’s effective date, to provide a delivery slot for a single aircraft, as part of a typical order for the type, to the ordering party, with projected future delivery within a reasonable industry timeframe based on the manufacturer’s backlog and production rate. The OV excludes any price escalation between order and delivery.
The ordering party is presumed to be knowledgeable, of reasonable creditworthiness and negotiating strength, and both it and the manufacturer are willing, able, and under normal commercial pressure to complete an arms-length transaction under standard commercial terms without undue delay. The price agreed is for the aircraft only, inclusive of deposits, pre-delivery payments and manufacturer credits against the list price, and excluding escalation charges, part-exchange credits, considerations for additional spare parts, maintenance reserves & training support, and buyer-furnished equipment. It is further assumed that the order is for an aircraft that is well established (i.e. not a launch order) and will be delivered in typical specification (including engine choice) and layout.
The Order Value constitutes an opinion that is effective as at the valuation date only.
All statements made in these valuations are derived from technical specification, commercial, and other relevant information available to VesselsValue at the date of the valuation and are based on the assumptions outlined above. While reasonable effort has been made to determine the veracity of the information gathered, VesselsValue makes no warranty as to the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and no assurance is given that the value will be sustained or realisable in any actual transaction.
Any person contemplating entering a transaction of any nature whatsoever should not rely on any statement (express or implied) made in these valuations without undertaking all necessary due diligence including but not limited to inspection of the order contract, the aircraft, and its records (as applicable), or other independent means as to the correctness of statements made in these valuations.
Order Values are given on an individual aircraft basis. For multiple aircraft (i.e. “en bloc”) orders, the aggregate order value will be highly dependent on the order volume as well as the relative negotiating strength of the ordering party. No assurance is given that the aggregate value of that en bloc order would necessarily be equal to the individual Order Value multiplied by an equivalent number of delivery slots.
