A Qflex has a size range between 210,000 and 229,999 CBM. The “Q” is for Qatar as that country has the big gas ports for these ships. These ships were the largest ships in the LNG fleet before the introduction of the QMAX vessels.
A vessel that is not in active service and may be awaiting better markets, fitting out, or work needed for classification.
