Momchil manages the VV Research office in Manila. His main responsibilities are the development and the implementation of processes for maintaining and improving the accuracy of the VV database. He works closely with the UK based Development, Research and Analysts Teams on the specification and development of new databases that support the expansion of the VesselsValue product range.
Momchil joined VesselsValue in mid 2014, initially focused on maintaining the Tanker and Gas vessel databases.
Prior to joining VesselsValue, Momchil worked as Marine Engineer on board several K-Line Vehicle Carrier vessels. He holds a MSc degree in Shipping Management from Southampton Solent University. As part of his MSc studies Momchil completed a research internship at the International Maritime Organization. He also holds BEng degree in Marine Engineering from N.Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy, Varna, Bulgaria.
Outside of work, Momchil likes to read books and go bowling.
