Junko manages the Sales and Client Services teams for the Asian market and is responsible for driving new business, client retention and upsell in these markets. She oversees the expanding Asian sales teams in London, Singapore, China and Korea, as well as working closely with the global Marketing & Communications department.
Junko is a regular speaker at industry events and has strong ties in the Japanese market. Junko joined VesselsValue in late 2011 and initially focused on sales and marketing for the Japanese Market, creating a solid foundation for the company’s future growth in Asia.
Prior to joining VesselsValue, Junko worked for Central Japan Railway Company. She holds a MSc degree in International Marketing from King’s College London and a BA degree in Economics from Waseda University.
Outside of work, Junko recently started to learn photography and she also has been enjoying playing tennis and golf over the years.
